Challenge Day a huge success!
On Tuesday 22nd September, all of the Key Stage One and Key Stage Two children engaged in our first Challenge Day. The children in Years One and Two were solving a 'Who Dunnit?' style problem and were frantically trying to find out who the dastardly chocolate thief was. The children in Years Three to Six were preparing the human race for life on a distant moon, once the Earth became over populated and out of resources.
The children in all year groups thoroughly enjoyed the day while developing their problem solving and team work skills at the same time.
The Challenge Day was a part of the Enabling Enterprise scheme which the school has introduced to enrich its curriculum. Throughout the year, the children will be involved in various class based projects and further Challenge Days. Some children will also be going out and experiencing life in the work place; three trips to financial and legal settings in the City have already been arranged.
