Letter from the Headteacher Thursday 7th May 2020 - School Closure Update
I am writing to up-date you on recent events during the enforced school closure. We continue to put learning resources on the school website on a weekly basis and as of last week there is a new addition. If you check the children's section of the website and look for Year groups you will see that alongside the activity sheets for the children and the weekly story, there is now a weekly music resource.
Please note that the weekly story and the new music activities are audio format not video as we are ensuring whatever we put on the website is robust technically (that it is accessible without crashing) and ensures that we safeguard all adults and children, in terms of what can be manipulated for inappropriate reasons.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has volunteered to donate food, distribute food parcels, and learning resources. This work is vital in these challenging times and we have been really impressed with the fantastic responses we have, and continue to receive.
We continue to remain open for childcare of key worker and vulnerable children so if you know of anyone in these categories who would benefit from childcare support please contact Allison Tokeley or Julie Western-Dew.
