Letter from the Headteacher regarding an urgent appeal for volunteers and updated information on online resources.
As you may be aware, there are some parents within our school community who are desperate for our support. We have some families who are struggling to provide their children with food, as the Government's voucher scheme has been so slow getting going, and some of our families are struggling, as they have no access to public funds. We are in constant contact with families who need our support and we now need volunteers to help us distribute food parcels. We are also aware that some of our families do not have access to on-line resources and we want to deliver the learning resources in paper form to their homes. If you are able to volunteer please contact Allison by e-mail using the e-mail address:
We are also putting out our Red Food Bank Donation Bins in the main entrance to the school on a daily basis between the hours of 10am and 2pm and we are hoping that as many of you who can, will make donations. Food Banks are running low on supplies and some of our families rely on this support so we want to contribute if at all possible.
Lastly please look out for a new addition to our learning resources on the school's website. As well as the weekly activity sheets we will be adding a story for the children to listen to. The teachers from each year group will be taking a turn each week to read a story to the year group. These can be found in the Year Group pages on the school website.
Please do consider volunteering if you can, we really do need you support either by donating to the Food Bank or offering to deliver food parcels or learning resources.
