Year 5 Treginnis Farm Trip

A group of our Year 5 children are currently on a trip to Treginnis Farm in Pembrokeshire. They are staying on a working farm and a taking part in a range of activities designed to give them a taste of farm life. The trip provides an amazing experience for our young farmers as they get to grips with feeding and looking after goats, sheep, pigs, horses and poultry. As well as this they are expected to harvest a range of different crops that go straight to the farm kitchen. It is hard work, beginning tasks at 7:30 in the morning and continuing all day until early evening but it is very satisfying and all the children love their time on the farm. Of course, there is lots of 'down time' where the children get to relax with their friends and the children also get to go on coastal walks to witness first-hand the stunning scenery along the Welsh Coast. Please check out the gallery page to see what our young farmers are getting up to today!
